Finally! The day has come. We are in Garnet Hill! (Online for now, a mailer goes out in a few days and then the catalog after that). The best part is, they tell folks it’s US! Clarabelle and the Hen. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to get the word out that we have a brand new name. How cute is that skirt? You can bet, Clara will be sportin’ that very outfit come Fall! (I, of course, had nothing to do with the skirt–I just happen to think it’s exceedingly cute). They wrote similar copy for the bottles, and the tee is sold in all sizes (in pink or lime). Plus, we have another design coming up for the tiny tots…

Phew. Now, onto to other pressing news. I feel I should post the Hannah Kate Clothing Show info again and keep it up for a few days. Rain, Rain, Go Away! May 4, 2009

I hate rain about as much as I hate winter. I was back in my running groove and feeling the benfits of vitamin D on my mood…and then came the  rain. ERGH. So I guess my mind is on sunnier days, thus the new design.I also worked ALLLL weekend and since designing is like a holiday for me, I’m taking one for a few minutes.

We had our annual crawfish boil saturday night and a good time was had by all.
The rain held out just long enough too…but come Sunday morning, YUCK. Nothing like cleaning up SOGGY crawfish boil leftovers.

you have to have to have the perfect outfit for the beach!)

Okay, time to start cranking again. (And yes, we are still working toward our big changeover…
most of you already know our new name, but we’re waiting to go whole hog for a bit longer. Plus I need to rob a bank or two 🙂
